THE ROOTS OF KAMI 紙

"Kami" is a word rooted in ancient Eastern tradition, meaning "paper" in Japanese. With this name, I wanted to pay homage to the origins of one of the oldest and most precious materials in our world, a symbol of creativity, art, and connection.

Paper has always been a medium through which to tell stories, convey emotions, and leave traces of our passage. With Kami, I chose to honor its beauty and importance.

Kami is not just a name, but an idea that encapsulates the link between tradition and contemporary design, where every product is made with the same care and respect that paper deserves.

Hi, I'm Silvia, a graphic designer and paper designer with a passion for artisanal design and the world of travel.

Every destination I've visited has left an indelible mark on my mind and heart, inspiring my work and my creative approach. My love for the art of paper design and the beauty of memories has led me to create a brand that celebrates travel and the unique experience of each place.
